Swiderski Equipment Clips Ribbon On Its Expanded Antigo Building

A longtime equipment dealer is expanding services and opportunities in the Antigo area.

The crew at Swiderski Equipment Inc. was joined by members of the Antigo/Langlade County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club this week, clipping a ribbon to mark the completion of a 70 by 120 foot expansion of its service center.

We are excited to officially open our expanded service shop, Brian Mattmiller, manager of the Antigo facility, said. The expansion not only allows us to increase our service capabilities, but also add jobs and continue to positively impact our community.

Swiderski has operated in Antigo for two decades, opening at its Highway 45 location as Antigo Machinery Sales in 1996.

The business actually dates to 1925, when the Swiderski family trained and sold work horses from their homestead. It has evolved as the needs of its customers have changed, now focusing on agriculture, construction and consumer equipment sales, parts and service.

We take great pride in understanding the needs of our customers to provide them with the solutions they need to be more productive and profitable in their own businesses, Mattmiller said. While technology flourishes and equipment grows larger, our focus continues to be providing the best service possible to our customers by meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.

Swiderski now has five locations and 124 employees, including 17 in Antigo, with a diverse offering of equipment and products along with factory-trained technicians and parts specialists.

The Antigo location also has on-the-road parts, sales and service representatives who can respond to on-site needs.

And our Precision Farming Division is committed to helping customers find solutions that through technology advances will make their business more efficient and more profitable, Mattmiller said.

The Antigo dealership is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to noon.
