Entrepreneurship Training Course
The Spring Entrepreneurial Training Program will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 pm starting Tuesday, February 27 to April 23, 2024. The SBDC course will be offered in person at Northcentral Technical College – Antigo Campus. The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) offered by the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center is a 9-week course providing an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process that shows your for-profit business how to: Answer the question-
- “Will people buy my product or service?”,
- How do I appeal to more customers,
- Develop a lender-ready business plan, and
- use time, money, and resources wisely.

With the generous donation from The Suick Family Foundation, Langlade County participants are eligible for a partial course reimbursement if the participant completes the course requirements and will also be able to present to a panel for a Langlade County Business Start-Up Grant opportunity.
Considering taking the 9-week Entrepreneurial Training Program? To learn if this course is for you, attend the Entrepreneurial Training Program Orientation Day set for Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in person at NTC-Antigo Campus at 312 Forrest Avenue in room WT-112. The Entrepreneurial Training Program orientation is a one-hour session in which participants will learn the “must-dos” to launch a business and keep it running, understand why a business plan is critical to a business’s success, and explore the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs. There is no cost to attend this orientation, but pre-registration is appreciated. 2023 Business Education Series
In collaboration with the SBDC and the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, Langlade County Economic Development Corporation will be offering a series of virtual Business Education workshops.
Please see this webpage for more information on the Business Education Series as well as other Continuing Education and Training classes, programs, and conferences being offered throughout 2023.
Participants are welcome to take one or all of the business education programs. The Business Education Series is designed to address specific fundamentals of business while exposing participants to new information and techniques to help them grow professionally and improve overall operations and business efficiencies. Each business education program is designed to deliver valuable information, tools, and strategies to allow participants to implement new skills and strategies immediately.
