Langlade County Microbusiness Grant Program
The Langlade County Microenterprise Program provides up to $10,000 grants to microenterprise businesses (5 or fewer employees including the owners) that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Langlade County has received $282,500 from the Wisconsin Department of Housing and Community Development as a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to implement this program. Funding for this program was made available under the Federal CARES-Act. We anticipate serving between 20 and 25 micro-enterprise businesses. WEDC Main Street Bounce Back Program
The Main Street Bounceback Grants program provides $10,000 to new or existing businesses and non-profit organizations moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. Funds can be used to pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location. The program is open to new or existing businesses opening a new location or expanding operations in a vacant commercial space as of January 1, 2021. Grant funds are available as part of the American Recovery Plan Act and will be distributed by WEDC’s regional partners. Businesses must apply through the partner organization for the region in which they are located.
LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan
The Langlade County Economic Development Corporation has created a Small Business Emergency Response Loan (LCEDC SB-ERL) program to provide an immediately $5,000 small business emergency loan to Langlade County businesses impacted by COVID-19.
Local Business Discovery Recovery Microloan Program
North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission announces Recovery Microloan Program for Langlade County and Surrounding Region. The North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (NCWRPC) is the regional administrator of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s BDRM program. The purpose of the Business Disaster Recovery Microloan (BDRM) program is to provide short-term assistance to businesses affected by the disaster event.
