Microenterprise Business Assistance Program
The Langlade County Microenterprise Program provides up to $10,000 grants to microenterprise businesses (5 or fewer employees including the owners) that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Langlade County has received $282,500 from the Wisconsin Department of Housing and Community Development as a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to implement this program. Funding for this program was made available under the Federal CARES-Act. We anticipate serving between 20 and 25 micro-enterprise businesses. LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan
The purpose of the LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan (LCEDC SB-ERL) program is to provide immediate small business loans to Langlade County businesses impacted by COVID-19.
CITY OF ANTIGO DOWNTOWN ENTREPRENEURS GRANT
The Downtown Antigo Entrepreneurs Grant Program purpose of the program is to encourage entrepreneurs to open their business in the City of Antigo Downtown Business District. The business must be located within the Downtown District. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis; and will be awarded based on the Evaluation Criteria. This is a reimbursable program. For every $4 that the applicant spends, they can be reimbursed $1 of grant funding to a maximum of $25,000 per applicant if the building is being purchased or up to $10,000 if the building is being rented/leased. The applicant must use private, non-City, funds to match the City’s grant.
