Microenterprise Business Assistance Program

(5 or fewer employees including the owners) that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Langlade County has received $282,500 from the Wisconsin Department of Housing and Community Development as a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to implement this program.  Funding for this program was made available under the Federal CARES-Act.  We anticipate serving between 20 and 25 micro-enterprise businesses.  Click the links below to see if your business is eligible and how to apply.

LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan

The purpose of the LCEDC Small Business Emergency Response Loan (LCEDC SB-ERL) program is to provide immediate small business loans to Langlade County businesses impacted by COVID-19.

City of Antigo Downtown SEARCH Grant

The City of Antigo Suick Economic Assistance Rewards Creating Hope (SEARCH) Grant Program is designed to enhance the overall economic vitality and character of Downtown Antigo.  Funding is used for businesses significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and is designed to provide financial assistance to property owners/tenants looking to improve/restore/rehabilitate their commercial businesses; ultimately enhancing Downtown Antigo.  This is a reimbursable grant program.  For every $1 that the applicant spends, they can be reimbursed $1 of grant funding to a maximum of $5,000 per applicant ($10,000 total project cost).   Grant funds were made possible through the Suick Family Foundation, the City of Antigo, and the Langlade County Economic Development Corporation.
