Logging Demo
October 15, 2018
Antigo High School forest science students listen to a presentation during Thursday’s Logging Educational Days held at Camp Susan. Area foresters, loggers and forest products industry representatives discussed sustainable forestry, tree identification, and timber production and harvesting. The Steve Marshall family took time out of their schedule to show us their logging equipment and talked about the importance of the forest industry in our area. All district fifth graders also attended, spending part of the day at the logging site and the other portion of the day at the school forest for nature activities.
