Heavy Metal Tour 2016

Antigo Middle School eighth graders discuss opportunities in welding with instructor Darren Wild at Northcentral Technical College’s annual “Heavy Metal” tour Wednesday, October 5, 2016. The event was held throughout the districts’ campuses and supporting businesses. At Antigo, 195 Middle School students visited the campus and also toured local industries including Amron, Johnson Coil, Merit Gear, Volm Companies and Waukesha Bearings. This event is made possible through a collaboration with North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board and the Central Wisconsin Metal Manufacturers Alliance.
