Apply Now For Langlade County Century Farm Award

The University of Wisconsin-Extension of Langlade County is now accepting applications for the 2015 Langlade County Century Farm Award. This is the first year this award will be given to families who have spent 100 years or more farming in Langlade County. In order to qualify, families are required to provide proof of continuous family ownership of property in Langlade County for the last 100 years.

All century farm families will be honored at a Langlade County Century Farm Award Program to be held before the tractor pull Sunday, August 2nd at the Langlade County Fair.

Honorees will receive a commemorative photo and a certificate. Families will also be invited to display their farm’s heritage at a booth in the multi-purpose building during the Fair.

Applications for the Century Farm Award are available now and must be returned to the UW-Extension office at 837 Clermont Street in Antigo by July 15th. Only one award will be given per farm.
