Sustainability That Sells: Easy Ways Small Businesses Can Attract More Customers (Webinar)
Small businesses can stand out with simple, authentic sustainability—build trust, attract loyal customers, and grow without big costs.
Small businesses today compete on more than price and product—they compete on trust, values, and customer experience. This workshop is designed to help small business owners attract more customers, build loyalty, and stand out from big-box competitors without needing sustainability expertise or major investments.
This hands-on session cuts through the jargon to focus on what customers truly notice—packaging, local sourcing, waste reduction, energy-saving practices, and community connection—and shows participants how to turn simple, low-cost actions into powerful marketing tools while avoiding greenwashing.
Attendees will leave with clear, actionable steps and a mini sustainability plan they can implement immediately to increase visibility, credibility, and market reach.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the sustainability actions and signals that customers value most
- Implement at least one low-cost sustainability improvement
- Communicate sustainability efforts clearly and credibly
- Develop a short, practical sustainability action plan
