Introduction to Financial Management (Webinar/Workshop)
The Introduction to Financial Management workshop is a one-hour course for small business owners looking to gain a solid foundation with the core language of financial management. This engaging workshop will cover key terms, basic financial statements, and beginner financial topics. Participants will learn core financial topics to build a base for stronger financial knowledge.
This session will lead into the three-part Financial Management Series. The Introduction to Financial Management can bet taken as a standalone workshop or in conjunction with the Financial Management Series. Led by instructor Michail Walker, this program empowers participants to take control of their business finances with confidence. All training and support is virtual.

Target participants:
This training/instructional support is most suitable for new small business owners and/or staff or individuals looking to learn basic financial terms and concepts. The material presented is basic financial management knowledge and is a foundation for small business owners.
Expected learning outcomes:
Participants completing this training program should be able to:
• Explain key terms;
• Identify basic financial statements;
• Describe the process of benchmarking; and
• General financial management.
