Langlade County Local Business Expo

Join us at the Langlade County Fairgrounds and Event Center for the first annual Langlade County Local Business Expo!

The Langlade County Local Business Expo celebrates the creativity, grit, and innovation that power our local economy. This event is open to all businesses, with a special emphasis on entrepreneurs, youth entrepreneurs, startups, home-based businesses, makers, and those looking to build visibility and meaningful local connections. We invite all of our local businesses to attend and showcase your products and services!

We are inviting the public to come learn, shop and win prizes provided by local business vendors! Unique to this event, we are highlighting an opportunity for youth entrepreneurs to debut their products and services to the community as well! A youth pitch opportunity will be hosted, so come support the local youth and make connections with our local businesses and mentors.

The Expo provides a welcoming opportunity for the community members to learn and engage with local businesses, learn of their services, stories, and connect directly with residents, fellow business owners, and community supporters.

Designed to highlight the diverse businesses that call Langlade County home, the Expo encourages collaboration, discovery, and community pride.

We look forward to bringing together established businesses and emerging entrepreneurs for a day focused on connection, community, and local success.

The SBDC course will be offered in person at Northcentral Technical College – Antigo Campus.  The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) offered by the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center is a 9-week course providing an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process that shows your for-profit business how to answer the questions:

  • “Will people buy my product or service?”,
  • How do I appeal to more customers,
  • Develop a lender-ready business plan, and
  • use time, money, and resources wisely.

Register for the Entrepreneurial Training Program by clicking here.  To find out more, download the Entrepreneurial Training Program flyer by clicking here.

With the generous donation from The Suick Family Foundation, Langlade County participants are eligible for a partial course reimbursement if the participant completes the course requirements and will also be able to present to a panel for a Langlade County Business Start-Up Grant opportunity.

If you miss the orientation day, not a problem.  Please call our office at 715-623-5123 to discuss taking the Entrepreneurial Training Program.  Contact LCEDC at 715-623-5123 or email aclose@co.langlade.wi.us, with questions.
