Workforce Development
Langlade County provides an economic development approach that attempts to enhance our County’s economic stability and prosperity by developing collaborative partnerships between our educational institutions, businesses, community organizations and the community itself. Langlade County is home to a very dedicated, proud and loyal workforce. Many of our businesses have very low turnover as a result of this. Part of the reason folks relocate to Langlade County is because of the vast diversity of recreational opportunities. Residents enjoy fishing on one of the 842 lakes or hunting on over 130,000 of public lands. Residents also enjoy the over 530 miles of snowmobile trails or 90 miles of ATV trails. And, if your recreation is more silent in nature then experience our biking/hiking trails or one of our 5 cross country ski trail systems.
Education
Langlade County is home to three school districts; Antigo, Elcho and White Lake. The Antigo district is the largest and covers the most geography in the County. Elcho and White lake offer a smaller, more personal atmosphere for student learning.
Training Resources
What makes the educational system so unique in the County is the collaboration and communication between our municipalities, business, and industry with the K-12 districts educators and administrators and the technical colleges.
