Students Offer Thanks For On-The-Job Skills at Co-Op, Apprenticeship Luncheon

The students and employers involved in the Youth Apprenticeship and Co-op programs at Antigo High School attended an appreciation luncheon at North Star Lanes.

 
This was an extension of gratitude for the patience and guidance exhibited by the employers over the past one or two years as the students are taught beneficial skills through challenging jobs that will help them in their future careers.

 
The businesses involved with the Youth Apprenticeship program include Andy Pagel Ginseng Farms LLC, Backes Food Mart, Brickner’s of Antigo, Copps Food Center, Country Kitchen, Culvers of Antigo, Dairy Queen, Empire Dairy LLC, Hartleben Farm, J & P Liquidators, Jesse Teal Farm, Kloes Farm, Krueger and Steinfest, Lakeside Pharmacy, Langlade Hospital, Little Caesars LLC, Mattoon Market, Monk Ginseng Farm, Ourada’s Dixie Lunch LLC, Schreiber Farm, Schroepfer Dairy Farm, Shestak’s Dairy Farm, Smith Farm, Sveda Farms LLC, and Waukesha Bearings.

 
The businesses involved with the Co-op program include Antigo Middle School, Arby’s, Arndt Forest Products, Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center, Clark’s Quality Flooring, Clint Kassler, Cocktail Cage, Copps Food Center, Crosstown Enterprises, Fuller Sales and Service, Goodwill, Houdek’s Dairy Farm, Kwik Trip, Lakeside Grocery, Laura Spencer, Lovable Huggable Daycare, Lucky Ash Dairy Farm, Marshall Farms, McDonalds Restaurant, Menards, Mills Fleet Farm, Parsons of Antigo, Schroeder Gifts, Schuessler Dairy, The Refuge, USDA Central Office, Walgreen’s, Wild’s Dairy Farm, and Zane Guitars.

 
The high school is always eager to connect with local businesses to help provide students with on-the-job training and use the skills acquired in the classroom.
