North Central WI Regional Entrepreneurship Assessment & Strategy Survey

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. The purpose of this survey is to assess the North Central region’s business climate for entrepreneurs across the region’s ten counties (Adams, Forest, Juneau, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Portage, Vilas, and Wood).
Your responses will help the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (NCWRPC) develop strategies that will help new business startups to succeed and grow within the region. These responses will be incorporated into NCWRPC’s 2023 North Central Wisconsin Regional Entrepreneurship Assessment and Strategy report, which will be completed during the summer of 2023. Survey responses are being collected through July 3rd, 2023.
This project is part of a regional Economic Development Administration (EDA) SPRINT Challenge grant that was awarded to CREATE Portage County, a collaborative, arts-based business incubator. CREATE is based in the IDEA Center in Downtown Stevens Point and is currently expanding in the ten-county region using the SPRINT grant funding. New collaborative hubs are being deployed in Wisconsin Rapids (McMillan Library), Adams (Adams Coworking), Rhinelander (ArtStart Rhinelander), Tomahawk (Tomahawk Library), and Wausau (Hmong American Center).
