Black Hawk Hill Open House on June 30 and July 1

Black Hawk Hill invites the public to an Open House on Friday, June 30, from 12 pm to 5 pm and Saturday, July 1, from 9 am to 4 pm at their facility at N1760 US Hway 45 S., Antigo.  The event is no charge and light refreshments and snacks will be served.

The community is invited to tour the facility, meet the program horses, and view demonstration for the equine experiential learning programs.  Youth will be invited to take part in several activities including arts & crafts as well as games.  McKenzie Glenetske, a certified equine assisted learning facilitator and riding instructor, will be demonstrating and answering questions about what programs are available.

Black Hawk Hill is a 501 (c)3 non-profit educational organization that serves as a resource for individuals, families, companies, and organizations that utilize authentic learning experiences to foster positive character and leadership development.

Black Hawk Hill creates custom programs to meet the needs of individuals and groups by incorporating specific objectives that support learning to help people make significant changes in their lives.  Experiential learning, or learning by doing, is proven to increase engagement and in turn, produces real results.  The programs cater to youth and adults through fun, interactive activities by partnering with horses.

Black Hawk Hill offers a rich and challenging variety of experiences, which includes summer camps, equine assisted learning programs, and riding lessons.  The facility nurtures connections, self-confidence, and personal growth.
